I grew up in Pittsburgh and graduated from Bowdoin College with BA in History. I offer my writings and photographs on this page in tribute to my mother, whose love for European adventure via smart, culturally thoughtful (budget) travel during my middle and high school years left an enormous mark on my direction today. Thanks to the amazing staff in the Fellowship Office at Bowdoin, I was accepted to be an English Teaching Assistant through Fulbright at a Romanian university for a year. Between this responsibility, I hope to split my time pursuing free reading (goal: to make it through most of Austen and Tolstoy), traveling throughout country, befriending locals, running, preparing for Foreign Service exam, and generally augmenting my woefully low common sense via apartment management, cooking, and budgeting.
